Why should I use an in-home pet sitter?
It is not good when you take your pets out of their normal routine and put them in a kennel or board them. Your pets can become very depressed and stressed due to the lack of attention that they may receive. With a pet sitter, they will be able to stay in their familiar and comfortable environment. All of our pet sitters are experienced with pets, and have been trained to meet our standards. Also, we not only care for your pets, we also take care of your home while your away. We can water your plants, take out your trash, turn lights on, get your mail, and contact you of any emergency. We are insured and members of PSA. Contact Us
How does the pet sitting process work?
Once you have scheduled a meet and greet via email or by phone, we come over and meet with you and your pets. We go over the paperwork together, we collect the key, perform our services, and you enjoy being out of town knowing your pets and home are in great hands!
Why should I use a pet sitter if I can have a friend do this?
H & A Pet Sitting is insured and qualified in pet care. We also provide multiple resources for your pets while you are away. Your neighbors might not have the time that is necessary to take proper care of your loved ones. Also, if your travel plans change causing you to be gone longer than expected, we will be able to continue caring for your home and pets.
What is a typical day like for my pet while I'am away?
The great thing is, your pets day is the almost exactly the same while your away as when you are here. We strive to keep your pets day and routine undisrupted even though you're away. It starts with early morning breakfast and walk, followed by dinner and evening walk, and then their night walk and light feeding if necessary. Additional visits can be provided.
Who will be taking care of my home and pets while I'am away?
When you call for pet care services, we assign a primary pet sitter and a back-up pet sitter to care for your pets. The pet sitter that you meet will be the sitter for your entire time away. We make every effort that your sitters will remain as your long-term pet care team. All sitters on our team have been interviewed and trained to meet the standards and protocols of H & A Pet Sitting, LLC.
When & how do I make a payment?
H & A Pet Sitting collect payment in advance. We accept cash and checks.You can also make a payment online through PayPal. Click here to pay online using paypal.
All international clients and out of state clients paying by check, must pay two weeks in advance of the first day of sitting. If paying with cash, you must pay in US dollar before we begin our services. The mailing address for the check and who to write the check out to will be communicated to you by email prior to the two week deadline.
